Vision Zer0 - NYC's Changing Traffic Safety Strategy

(Click on the image for the CBC video)

Vision Zer0 is New York City's new traffic-safety strategy and so far it's worked. Queens Blvd [the "Boulevard of Death"], which used to be the most deadly area in the city, has had zero deaths since Vision Zero was implemented [as of Aug 2018].
New York City made 5 major changes:
  1. Road design
  2. Bike lanes
  3. Traffic enforcement
  4. Controlling speed
  5. Political will
Over all, New York City plans to spend $1.6B on Vision Zer0.
