From a Tantallon neighbor:
I wanted to alert my neighbors that a theft occurred at our home last night [Dec. 12] at 6:33pm on Saint Andrews Drive. Attached is a video clip of the thief who stole an Amazon package and a bag full of supplies that were delivered earlier that day. It appears to be a young man and he came from the dead end side of the street so he was most likely on foot walking through the area with either a car nearby or he lives in the area. He didn't seem to care that we could be home. He appears to be wearing a light blue jacket, a pink or light orange hoodie underneath, dark jeans and sneakers.
I filed a police report and they will be on the look out for suspicious activity. The officer also encourages us to find alternate delivery locations, such as Amazon lockers, the UPS store, work, or post office at least through the holiday season if a package will arrive when you are not home and don't leave anything valuable in your car. Make sure all your car and house doors are locked and any doors to your back yard. Installing a good security camera will help at least get descriptions of the thieves, their cars, and their methods of operation.
